📣 8 Days and counting!! Cast your vote for Missy Crutchfield, BeMagazine.org Co-Founder and Animal Advocate for Top Host and let’s mainstream the message to Save the Dogs and all laboratory animals.

Having just recently finished the history-making, 207-mile, 14-day , Missy wants to take the message of Animal Liberation to the world.

Missy says, “I’m hoping to raise awareness of the cruelty and failure of animal testing. There are tens of thousands of beagles and hundreds of thousands of animals kept in torture chambers and animal testing fails in more than 92% of human trials. It’s just a cruel money machine and we have the technology to find real cures now with the new science that doesn’t use animals. We need . I will dedicate my podcast to this and donate all the money to these causes. ♥”

🔥 What an incredible honor it was to be on the ground covering a history-making protest of epic proportions. If you have not heard about this yet—you need to right now.

Everyday household products are bought by U.S. consumers every day and often without knowledge of the cruelty that goes into testing these products on animals before they go to market.

Consumers are starting to have their eyes opened though as news is coming forward about cruel beagle breeding and testing facilities like Ridglan Farms and Marshall BioResources and now public outcry for these torturous facilities to shut down is mounting.

Following on the heels of the Ridglan Beagle Rescue this spring, animal rights activists from across the country convened in upstate New York for the history-making 207-mile, 14-day from the State Capitol in Albany all the way to Marshall BioResources in North Rose, the largest breeder in the U.S. of animals for testing. By the climactic final day marching to Marshall BioResources, over 1,000 Marchers joined the protest which was covered by and other global media.

At Marshall BioResources, over 16,000 beagles and over 40,000 other types of animals including cats, rabbits, ferrets, pigs, guinea pigs, and others are all being bred and used for cruel and completely unnecessary testing—being forced to breathe toxic fumes that burn their lungs, having toxic chemicals poured on their eyes, facing unnecessary surgical procedures without anesthesia or pain control, the list goes on—and it must stop now.

There is better science without the suffering and there are more modern, more humane research and testing methods available. It is time for change.

What can you do to help the animals? Stay tuned and Join future Marches and Actions. Donate. Support from home. Share the message on your social media. Boycott products that are affiliated with these facilities and animal testing. Call your elected officials. Every action matters.

Animal advocates have launched the March to Abolish Animal Testing (MarchForAnimals.org) a 207-mile journey to raise awareness about animal testing and demand a transition to modern, non-animal research.

The night before the March launched in Albany, activists attended a pre-screening of “The New Gold Standard thenewgoldstandardfilm documentary before its official release. The 2026 documentary explores cutting-edge, human-based methods like organ chips, organoids, and AI models that have been found to be more effective, superior methods and stand to replace animal testing in biomedical research. The event featured a Q&A with Emmy Award-winning Director/Producer Steven Latham and writer/journalist Melanie D.G. Kaplan, Melanie D.G. Kaplan, author of “Lab Dog.”

The March officially launched from the New York State Capitol in Albany on Saturday, September 12, 2026 calling for an end to animal testing. Since then Marchers have been making their way across the state on a 207-mile journey from Albany toward Rochester, culminating at Marshall BioResources, the largest facility for lab animal breeding and training in the country, calling for an end to animal testing and for the release of animals held at the facility, including more than 16,000 beagles and more than 40,000 other animals, according to the organizers.

Behind the closed doors of animal breeding and lab testing facilities, beagles have become the chosen breed because of their sweet, docile, compliant personalities for which the breed is so well known. They live out their lives inside windowless breeding facilities, kept in cages, and bred by the thousands to be sold to laboratories for research. This spring, Americans witnessed the cages emptying out during an unprecedented rescue operation at Ridglan Farms in Wisconsin.

As that rescue moved the nation, we’re witnessing this generation’s defining movement and one that crosses the aisle and is uniting a divided nation like nothing else.
