BREAKING!
Capt. Dustin Kidd (Bourbon City Marine Center, Louisville) and Capt. Marc Crutcher (Juniper Beach Marina / Unbridled Sailing) — crossed their wake back at Kentucky Dam at 11:05 a.m. CDT, Friday Sep 18, closing the Loop they left at 1:14 p.m. CDT on Sep 6 aboard a 2027 Highfield Boats Sport 800 RIB with twin Yamaha 200s. That beats Lady Lor's 12d 18h 10m (July 2025) by 20 hours 19 minutes — the fastest Great Loop ever run: ~4,280 tracker miles at 15.0 mph average, Kentucky Dam start and finish.
