Area 61 gallery was established in 2009 by master wood craftsmen David Crewe and Rudd Montgomery as a space to show and sell their work. Our gallery features the work of 30+ professional local artists and craftsmen and includes hand-crafted furniture, woodwork, fine art, sculpture, jewelry, pottery, handcrafted audio speakers by SoundCrewe and much more. So, we offer a diverse collection of works with a wide range of price points by Chattanooga professional artists for you to choose from. With the final show of the season behind me, I’m doing all the studio housecleaning tasks that I’ve put off. We’ll have our studio open during the Nov 29 Cold Turkey Mkt and I have some specials planned, including selling stones from my jewelry making stash.

Inspired by the historic Paris Salons—famous for showcasing a wide range of artists’ works floor-to-ceiling—our Salon exhibit welcomes ALL AVA members and mediums. Essentially, you submit, you’re in (with a few caveats noted in the call). Membership will be verified by AVA staff upon submission.

✨ We’re campaigning to include at least one work from as many AVA members as possible! Whether you’re seasoned or new to exhibiting, we want to showcase your work!
