WaterWays
WaterWays (@mywaterways) began as Caribbean SEA in 2004. Our mission is to empower kids to lead their communities in watershed stewardship and restoration.
Our goal is clean water for all through grassroots community action.
Education and awareness through playing mas
WaterWays partnered with the Pitons Management Area Office to have a joint Junior Carnival Band for Soufriere Carnival 2026 to portray the theme Guardians of Soufriere.
Our little revellers had fun bringing the costumes to life to showcase their sections Guardians of the River and Water Warriors (guardians of all water sources) and the PMA sections The Pitons (Guardians of the land) and The Petroglyphs (Guardians of the voices of the ancestors). (Stay tuned for the PMA highlight reel).
Our foray into mas as a form of edutainment was made possible by the Flowing Clean project funded by Procaribe Plus through GEF Small Grants Programme- Saint Lucia. We also had financial support from Soufriere Foundation via SEMO and About Time Trucking Services. Thank you!
Education through Mas.
Did you catch us outside?
Our little eevellers got to experience mas camp helping make their own costumes and they definitely had a fun time jumping on the road.
