CSD Cheltenham ES

Cheltenham Elementary students in Ms. Albaugh and Ms. Mayah's classrooms combined to celebrate Johnny Appleseed Day recently! Students completed an array of activities, including ordering the life cycle of an apple, labeling an apple, coloring Johnny Appleseed, completing an apple craft, and enjoying a “Make an Apple Pie” sensory bin. At the end of the activities, students tried red and green apples and decided which ones they liked best. Students and staff had a blast!

Join us for a night of family fun at Cheltenham Elementary’s Family Bingo Night! Mark your calendars for Friday, September 25, 6–8pm. Entrance and play are FREE—bring your friends and enjoy concessions and spirit wear for purchase! See you there!

📚✨ Once upon a time in Mrs. Higgins’ second grade classroom… our young storytellers brought their favorite fairytales to life! 🧚‍♀️🎭

Using puppets, students retold stories they’ve been reading in class, including The Fisherman and His Wife, The Emperor’s New Clothes, and Beauty and the Beast. 🐟👑🌹

We loved watching their creativity, confidence, and storytelling skills shine as they stepped into the roles of their favorite characters! ❤️📖

What a magical way to bring reading to life! ✨

📜🇺🇸 Yesterday, our 5th Grade Student Council celebrated National Constitution Day by putting their leadership skills into action! Our students worked together to draft a Constitution for CES, thoughtfully sharing ideas about the values and expectations that make our school community special.

The final draft will be printed, shared with the entire school, and proudly displayed in our lobby. We are so proud of our student leaders for making their voices heard and helping shape the future of CES! 💙✨

🎨✨ Creativity in action! Students in Ms. Mayah’s class enjoyed a special small-group art lesson with Ms. Pellish. We loved seeing their imaginations come to life through color, creativity, and fun! 🖌️💛

🐬✨ It was a fin-tastic day at our PBIS Assembly! We reviewed our school-wide expectations across the building and introduced two exciting new ways to recognize positive choices: Fin-tastic Tickets 🎟️🐬 and Class Compliment Cards 💙👏

We’re ready to swim into a school year showing that we are Caring, Exceptional, and Safe! 🌊🐬

🎶4th and 5th grade students had the unique opportunity on Friday to learn all about the different instruments they have the opportunity to play this school year! Our fabulous music teachers demonstrated the different instruments and played fun songs for our students!
