IS IT PERSONAL OR UNIVERSAL?

People of God, always let your convictions come from THE LAWS OF GOD (BIBLE).

Too many people get convicted (feel a sense of wrong doing) based on traditions of men (religion/man made laws, what someone else feel is wrong based on their bad experiences, or from how you were raised, etc.

Just because you don’t eat meat, doesn’t mean I can’t. YOU CANNOT MAKE A PERSONAL CONVICTION A UNIVERSAL CONVICTION!

Universal convictions for a believer should come from universal laws in the Bible that refers to every believer of Christ Jesus.

The Gentiles didn’t have the same convictions as the Jews because they didn’t have to abide by the same laws. However after the law of Moses was abolished, they could share in more of the same convictions.

Another example: A lot of people won’t go to casinos because of this scripture:

Proverbs 10:2: "Ill-gotten treasures have no lasting value, but righteousness delivers from death" (NIV).

Notice the first word in this scripture says ill-gotten. That means money or riches gotten ILLEGALLY. Well the casino and I know some of you religious ones are going to get mad at me for saying these next 3 words, PLAYING THE LOTTERY 🤣, IS LEGAL. ⛓️‍💥 I hope that just broke someone’s religious chains lol. ⛓️‍💥 (WOWWWW, FREEDOM LOOKS GOOD ON YOU)🤣

However; because someone else may still have their personal convictions about the casino or the lottery for whatever reasons (ex. Addictions, religion, personal opinions, etc), BUT IT’S STILL THEIR PERSONAL CONVICTION, NOT TO BE MADE INTO A UNIVERSAL BIBLICAL LAW.

1Corinthians 6:12 says,
All things are lawful for me, but all things are not expedient."
This means that you maybe allowed or free to do it, but it may not be wise to do it

Their is much more I can say pertaining to convictions, but I have talked enough 🤣.
