We’re cracking the code on what it takes to be recommended by AI.

Because we know it’s so important for businesses to be part of the conversations happening on AI platforms, we decided to dive deeper into what makes or breaks a recommendation from AI.

Presenting: The IMPACT AI Visibility Report

We asked 4 AI platforms the same thing:

What makes you recommend a company?

For 23 different industries.

Then we collected every trend, recommendation, and red flag that AI uses to either choose or eliminate your company from the conversation.

In this episode of the Endless Customers podcast, we are walking through what matters and what doesn’t.

Most of your team is only scratching the surface of what AI can actually do for them. Not because they don't want to explore it, but because building real skill with a new tool while managing a full workload takes time most people don't have.

There are two approaches you can take:

Identify team members who are already deep into AI and can build tools the rest of the team can use. If they're curious enough to dig in, give them a problem to solve and the runway to do it.

Or, find outside guidance that's already testing what's actually worth building versus what's just noise. That's what can save your team weeks of trial and error, and what coaches like Reagan help people do every day.

The new episode of Endless Customers gets into exactly how teams are getting there faster. 👇

You can spot most AI-written content from a mile away. Heavy contrast frames, em dashes everywhere, all wrapped in writing that feels creatively stale.

That phase is ending for some, which is a huge win for content managers cranking out three or more articles a week who still need every piece to sound like them.

It comes down to direction: your voice, your structure, your point of view, instead of settling for the first draft. Once that clicks, the tells start to melt away. The writing sounds like your unique perspective. Every time.

That's the real marker of progress with AI. Not how much you use it, but how well you can keep quality high while picking up the pace.

A guarantee is only as powerful as it is visible.

If your guarantee is buried in the fine print of your website and contracts, it fails your customers in two ways:

1. You don’t build trust before the sale
2. You lose an opportunity to win in AI search

Being open and transparent about it the consequence of bad service might feel scary, but it is a massive trust signal for buyers and AI.

Aaron Gaynor and the team at Eco Plumbers, Electricians, and HVAC Technicians are clear and upfront about what the customer gets if they aren’t satisfied, and when everyone knows what’s at stake, it’s more comfortable and confident on both sides.

Check out Aaron’s story and strategies for building an organization centered on customer service and transparency in the latest episode of the Endless Customers podcast.

195,000 customers reviews?! How can you make that happen?

Customer reviews continue to be a pivotal piece of your business’s online reputation.

Not just on Google, but also on the third-party platforms most relevant to your industry (e.g., Angi’s List, Thumbtack, Yelp), because customers and AI are looking for any reason to disqualify your business from their search.

Aaron Gaynor joined us on the Endless Customers podcast to share his strategies for building a consistent culture around reviews. He and his team are responsible for nearly 200,000 reviews!

Check out Aaron’s strategies that brought them here and keep reviews a massive part of how they serve their customers.

Writing unique content for every market you serve can feel impossible.

AI makes the writing faster, but if the pages all read the same, you’re not helping your ranking; you’re risking triggering a thin content penalty.

Scott Merritt, co-founder of Honest Fix, found the balance for his business.

As he creates articles, he writes variations dedicated to each area he services and their unique needs.

Each article is similar, but about 200 words are hyper-local: humidity levels that shift depending on how close a town sits to the river, water hardness, even how older, steel-mill-era homes homes hold heat differently just a few miles apart.

Those 200 words are what make his content stand out. It’s specific, valuable, and demonstrates local, relevant expertise for searchers.

That’s the type of content AI wants to surface.

Scott breaks down his full local AI strategy in the latest episode of the Endless Customers podcast.

Want ChatGPT and AI platforms to recommend your brand? You have to speak their language.

There a few practical optimizations you can make, like:

- Adding a llms.txt file
- Setting up clean schema, and
- Building structured page hierarchies

By doing this, you can make it effortless for AI tools to understand and feature your business.

The best part? Right now, the ground is still relatively level. The brands that win tomorrow are the ones experimenting and trying new solutions today.

Special thanks to Scott Merritt of Honest Fix for sharing his real-world breakdown on how he is leveraging AI structure and everything he has learned from Endless Customers to supercharge his marketing and drive recommendations.

- Team bio pages

We dive into the how and why behind them, so you can start building your own strategy to improve your website and start getting those AI recommendations.

The best coaching relationships don’t stop at sales and marketing.

When we work with a leadership team, we’re investing in the long-term success of the business itself. That means celebrating wins together, working through difficult seasons together, and helping leaders make better decisions with confidence.

We care about the people behind the company just as much as the numbers…from their employees and customers to their reputation and their future.

that’s why our coaches don’t see themselves as outside consultants. They become trusted partners who understand the business, ask hard questions when they need to, and stay committed to moving the company forward.

Our mission has always been simple: help good businesses help more people. When leaders succeed, their teams, customers, and communities benefit too.

Our clients are the best part about what we do!
