Soooo…. Yeah. It’s neck brace time. I’ve kept quiet for a while but now I feel like I need to do a little sharing since it is impacting the flow in my studio 😣

I’ve been in pain for over a month with what I thought was a frozen shoulder and some correlated neck pain, but it seems like all the issues started from my neck. *sigh* So it’s neck brace and regular Chiro visits for me and then we decide if I go get some scans of my neck as this could be an issue with disks vs. just a pulled/strained muscle. 😢

This means I am on light duty at the studio; so little to no hammering & sawing. Ooof. I’m already behind with custom orders and I am trying to stay the course - but it is starting to create a bit of panic. I’m sorry if you are waiting on me! I am doing my very best while also taking care of myself. 🫠

BUT I will still be participating in this weekend’s Vermont Crafts Council Open Studio! I will have lots of work on display, you can see where the jewelry is made and I will be doing the demonstrations that I am able to. 10-5 both Saturday & Sunday ❤️✨🍁

Speaking of bandanas ~ I just picked up the most beautiful 100% cotton bandana from Thyme & Again Apothecary and Wellness in Chester!! I’m going back for more!! I just gardened in it and it’s so light and airy but it’s substantial enough to tie my whole outfit together. 🥰 🍁❤️

I paired it with a comfy sweatshirt, jeans and a WRD favorite: the Olive Branch Hoops!

I’m sorry I did not post any teaser anything this weekend at Chester Festival - but I was out straight helping run the event and vend at it. (Which also included 3:30am security detail)! It’s always a wild ride - but wow… wow… all the hard stuff was worth it.

It was an amazing weekend that I’m still grasping to put into words. Thank you to the thousands that walked through our gates. I knew it was going to be good - but you all blew my expectations out of the water. Thank you to the vendors who trusted in our vision. You are my community. My ride or die. I do this for you - and you give me the momentum to continue year after year. ((((HUGS)))) Thank you to our sponsors for helping make our event spectacular. And to my fellow board members and others who volunteer their time with us - that means NO PAY - just big hearts, happy souls and feet and hands ready to take on the world! Thank you for sharing your kindness and dedication. You make the magic happen, seamlessly. 💫❤️

For the first time in so long, I belly laughed and had tears of joy in my eyes. I was in awe. My intentions for this event were always to create a safe and spectacular event for vendors, volunteers and patrons and our crew pulled it off in a big way.
