It's a very special day today for one of our employees. Grant has a birthday today (and his twin brother) so we got to celebrate a little early with him on Monday with singing and some cupcakes.

Happy Birthday Grant (and Joseph). Thank you for working so hard and being an amazing asset to the farm. You make the farm a better and more enjoyable place to be. Celebrate big and keep spreading JOY!!!!

So excited to be apart of this class this semester. Excited to see what they create. So much fun having these amazing students at the farm today.

Part of our upgrade on the farm included moving our Vego Garden self watering beds inside the greenhouse. These growbeds will be used year round and have already been planted with carrots, radishes, beets and onions. We will finish building out this part of the farm in the near future to offer more produce varieties. We continue to utilize our space more efficiently so our employees can continue to learn new skills.

Busy week, but we are continuing to spread JOY!

A little before and after. Busy, busy week, but this place is already looking better. More clean up and more set up, but getting close. The fish house will now turn into a more productive and efficient operation. New filter is coming in and we plan on growing a lot more produce in the fish house (Who is ready for a Salad Kit CSA filled with fresh lettuce, microgreens and salad add ons?).

The large lettuce pond now has a new "sidewalk" right down the middle so no more slipping and sliding in the pond moving rafts around.

And did i mention safety? One of the main benefits is now all of our areas are more ADA compliant which will not only benefit our current employees, but will also be a major improvement for our field trips.

More growth. More efficiencies. More opportunities. Steady progress when money, time and energy are available.

That's spreading JOY!

Happy Friday and remember we live in the greatest country! Be thankful always!!!

Fort Mill friends- you asked, we listened. Fresh, aquaponically grown lettuce is being delivered to our friends at Saltwater Markets. Get there ASAP.

Rock Hill friends - another delivery is being made to our friends at The Country Carrot. Get there ASAP.

This has been a fun, busy, tired week but very productive. I will post a video tomorrow showing all of the improvements we made and how we are expanding. Lots of fun. Spreading JOY.
