Northeast Driver Training

Students will spend time daily on the simulator learning and practicing proper shifting techniques while at training. Through hands on instruction, guided practice, and repetition, students will build the skills and confidence needed to shift smoothly and correctly in a variety of driving situations. Daily simulator training helps prepare students for real world driving by allowing them to safely practice gear changes, clutch control and timing, before getting behind the wheel on the road.

Everything you need to know to begin your CDL journey can be found in the Commercial Driver’s Manual. You study the material, and we will provide the hands-on training, instruction, and real-world experience needed to learn how to properly operate a commercial vehicle. From shifting and backing to inspections, safety, and road driving, our goal is to help prepare you for your final CDL test at the end of training and for a successful future career on the road.

Call us on Monday morning and we will happily get you started!

Time spent on our simulator gives you hands-on practice with using the clutch and shifting, helping you build confidence and skill in a safe, controlled environment before hitting the road.
