Legacy Scout Day brought PBR to Legacy, giving our players the chance to showcase their development, athleticism and baseball skills while being evaluated and gaining valuable exposure.

A special thank you to Kevin and PBR for spending the day with our athletes and helping create another opportunity for them to take the next step.

Baseball is a hard game to play. It can be an even harder game to teach.

Knowing how to play the game and knowing how to develop young players aren’t always the same thing. Great coaching takes more than baseball experience, it takes the ability to teach, communicate, correct, and help players understand not only what to do, but why they’re doing it.

That’s why developing our coaches matters just as much as developing our players.

Our Klutch and Legacy coaches recently came together for a Coaches Clinic led by our Director of Baseball Operations. The focus wasn’t just drills and X’s and O’s. It was about what it means to coach within our organization…the expectations of our coaches, the expectations of our players, and how we develop athletes throughout the entire program.

From our youngest Klutch players to our oldest Legacy teams, we’re building one connected developmental system.

The same core fundamentals.
The same terminology.
The same principles.
The same expectations.

As players move through the program, they’re not starting over with a completely different philosophy. They’re building on a foundation that’s been taught from the beginning.

And our coaches aren’t expected to figure everything out on their own. They have direct access to our Director of Baseball Operations, the Founder of Legacy Performance Academy, and the Managing Director of Legacy Performance Academy, a leadership team available to answer questions, provide guidance, and help our coaches become better teachers of the game.

That kind of support doesn’t just benefit our coaches. It reaches every player they coach.
