Just a friendly reminder that Harvest Blooms: Pumpkin Trio Craft & Sip is only TWO WEEKS away, and I still have tickets available!
And these aren’t little tabletop pumpkins! 😉 You’ll create a three-piece set standing 24", 18" and 12" tall — perfect for your porch, entryway or anywhere you want a little extra fall color.
We’ll also be trying a fun technique to create our own “napkin” for Mod Podging! If you’re already familiar with Mod Podge, you’ll get to learn a new twist on it — and if you’ve never tried it before, I’ll walk you through the whole process. We’ll finish them off with grapevine stems, jute and beautiful dried flowers from right here at Spring Run Vineyards. 🌻

Check out her Halloween Movies Treats menu for this weekend. And y’all… that cookie sammy I’m holding? 😳🤤 Oh. My. Goodness. I don’t even know how to describe how delicious it was. SO good!

She’ll be open Saturday 10/3 & Sunday 10/4 from 9 AM–7 PM — or until sold out... and she regularly sells out!

We’re excited to partner with Recover Hope for a special Craft & Sip for a Cause at Spring Run Vineyards!

We’ll be creating this beautiful dandelion-inspired piece using crushed glass, Scripture and resin — but the best part of this evening is the purpose behind it.

Tickets are $45, and $30 from every ticket will be donated directly to Recover Hope, supporting their work in the fight against human trafficking in Central & Southside Virginia.

A quick note about your finished project: I’ll be pouring the resin that evening, and your piece will need time to fully cure before heading home with you. Finished projects can be picked up at Spring Run Vineyards on Monday, November 9, between 4:30–6:30 PM.

What a way to finish! Saturday was awesome—Jay Turner, Ruby Mae & Jax rocked the house, Lapa’s Thai Food Truck served up delicious eats, and God provided a beautiful day. ☀️🙌

Thank you to everyone who visited us this season! We loved seeing familiar faces and meeting so many people discovering Spring Run for the first time. We always joke that if we had a quarter for every person who said, “We had no idea you were back here!” we could build another barn. 😂 It’s pretty cool watching the word continue to spread!

We also heard you on our 2 PM Saturday closing time. Our 9–2 hours were chosen with our vendors, hot summer afternoons, and earlier flower and blackberry picking in mind. But Spring Run is also a very small, family-run operation. Matt and I are the Saturday crew, and I work a full-time job during the week, so we try to balance this little business we love with family and life, too. ❤️

That said, we’re always learning! This winter we’ll be looking at next season, including possibly shifting Saturdays later—something like 11–4 with live music. Stay tuned!

And although our regular season is over, the fun isn’t! We have at least 12 ticketed events between now and Christmas—Paint & Sips, Craft & Sips, cookie decorating and more! 🎨🍪🍷 Please watch Facebook and our emails and help us spread the word.

🍂 Harvest Blooms Pumpkin Trio Craft & Sip! 🌻

This one is a BIG craft — and you’ll go home with all three pieces! Your pumpkin trio includes 24", 18" and 12" boards, creating a substantial fall display that will make quite the statement in your home.

Because of the size of this project, I’m limiting this class to just 20 tickets so everyone has plenty of room to spread out and create comfortably. If you want to join us, don’t wait too long to grab your spot!

And we’re not just assembling them! We’ll be getting our hands dirty and learning some fun techniques along the way — staining, distressing, hot-gluing, Mod Podge, and a special technique for preparing our floral artwork before applying it to the wood.

One of my favorite parts? 🌻 The dried flowers, curly-Q grapevines and grapevine stems we’ll use to embellish our pumpkins were grown right here at Spring Run Vineyards. Each finished trio will have its own little personality, so embellishments may vary slightly from the example.

Come spend the evening sipping, crafting, learning something new and leave with a beautiful three-piece fall display to show for it!

🎃 Glass & Gourds was such a fun night!

I really enjoyed this class, and I hope everyone who joined us did too! What a great group and such a fun evening of painting, creating, sipping and laughing. ❤️

One of my favorite parts was seeing how different everyone’s trays turned out. Same project, but so many different colors, styles and personalities — and they were even prettier once the glass and resin brought everything to life!

Thank you to everyone who came out and spent the evening crafting with us at Spring Run Vineyards. I’m looking forward to lots more Craft & Sips this crafting season!
