Juju is a 5-year-old Miniature American Shepherd and American Eskimo mix who weighs about 22 lb. This mixture of breeds, confirmed by DNA test, supports what we have seen while Juju has been in our care. While Juju is very high energy and requires a lot of physical/mental stimulation, he is also highly trainable and enjoys learning new things.

In Juju's current foster home, he enjoys long distance (2-5 miles) walks daily, as well as other outdoor activities such as swimming, hiking, and playing with his herding ball. He also has puzzle toys to play with, which are especially important on rainy days. Juju needs a very active home who is willing and able to maintain this level of physical and mental stimulation for Juju.

Juju has been living with a cat. When they first met, Juju tried to herd the cat but now they are friends who cuddle and groom each other. Juju will require regular brushing and grooming as he has a double coat. Juju enjoys car rides. Juju gets along with other dogs but is not always interested in playing with them.

Juju is potty trained and crate trained. He walks very well on a leash. Juju is very anxious in some situations including vet visits. A fenced yard is required and any children in the home must be at least 12 years old.

Piper (red)and Shiloh (white and red) saw the vet on Friday! The vet thinks they are 3-4 years old. Both are healthy overall. Shiloh has luxating patellas in her back legs but they aren't impacting her mobility at all at this time. Piper is 13lbs and Shiloh is 13.6lbs, but they should both be about 10 lbs so they have more weight to lose.

Meet Peanut! She is a 4 year old Boston Terrier Shih Tzu mix who weighs about 10lbs. Her eyes are huge! 😍

Peanut is friendly and sweet. She gets along with other dogs but occasionally tries to assert dominance. She is working on potty training. She rides well in the car.

Tilly is a 6 year old female Cattle Dog mix who weighs about 26lbs. She is pretty short and a bit stocky. Tilly is very shy at first, but bonds strongly with her person once she is comfortable. She loves pets and giving kisses.

Tilly is VERY smart! She loves carrying around stainless steel bowls, and will try stacking them to see if she can hold more than one at a time! She listens very well. Tilly is a perfect car rider!

Tilly loves toys, but needs strong/durable toys as she likes to chew the stuffing out 😂 She LOVES Kongs filled with frozen peanut butter, pumpkin, apples and Greek yogurt. She also really likes dental chews.

Tilly does have separation anxiety and needs to be crated when her person leaves. She doesn't mind her crate at all, as she knows she gets a treat for going in. She does not herd people or animals, but will stare at you until you do what she wants 🤣

Tilly is potty trained and crate trained. She gets along with other dogs, but can get jealous if she isn't getting enough attention.

Tilly's ideal home would be quiet, with someone who is willing to take her on walks/hikes/play fetch and give her mental stimulation, before coming home to unwind with a dental treat or frozen Kong and cuddle on the couch.

Tilly has met a cat and ignored him. She would likely do fine with older children once she settles in - she doesn't growl at them but she is nervous at first.

Layla is an 11 year old Yorkie who weighs about 10lbs.

Layla is in early kidney failure but her most recent blood work was excellent. She is on a prescription diet but is not on any medication.

Layla is a very vibrant little girl! She loves to play with squeaky toys and is quite energetic for her age. She is very snuggly and highly treat motivated.

Layla would love a home with no dogs, or dogs who will leave her alone. She cannot live with cats. Layla would prefer a home where someone is home most of the time.
