Mendel's Fretted Instruments

An octave mandolin for me. I haven't had one of my own for quite a while. It is a keeper. I wish I had a pile of this maple, only enough for a couple more instruments.

Koa OM cutaway. Koa back & sides, red spruce top, spalted maple rosette, maple binding, ebony bridge, purple heart fingerboard, headstock veneer and back strap, EVO gold fretwork, Gotoh 510 tuners, bone nut, saddle, bridge pins and end pin.

I didn't really just whip out another guitar over the weekend. This one was right behind last weeks guitar in the process. Chechen back & sides, sitka top, Adirondack spruce braces, ziricote bridge, fingerboard and head plate, spalted maple rosette (thank you Don K.) mahogany neck, maple binding Gotoh 510 tuners, unbleached bone nut & saddle, and bone bridge pins.

Just off the bench. Sitka top, Paduak back & sides, maple neck w/ mahogany stringers, ebony headstock & bridge, Royal blackwood fingerboard, mahogany binding, bone nut, saddle and bridge pins, Gotoh 510 mini tuners.
