The "Pulling for Hope" event supports Wings of Hope, a Chesterfield-based organization that provides access to health care in underserved and remote communities around the world.

The two-day, on-campus event gives prospective Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) students an inside look at what makes Logan one of the top chiropractic programs in the country. Attendees get a tour of Logan's beautiful campus—featuring state-of-the-art anatomy labs, technique rooms, and student space—while getting the opportunity to connect with current students, faculty, and staff. They'll also enjoy live demonstrations of adjusting techniques and hear firsthand what sets Logan apart.

This year's theme, "Joint Efforts," aims to raise awareness of the importance of joint health, mobility, and movement. At Logan University, we know that awareness efforts extend beyond the classroom and clinic.

Throughout the month, Logan students, faculty, and staff will be putting our commitment to community health into action through participating in a variety of events and service opportunities, include those held at local libraries, community events, and more.

Save the date for the 19th Annual Joseph W. Howe Oration in Diagnostic Imaging on Friday, October 16!

Kenneth A. Weber II, DC, PhD, this year's Orator, will present "Advancing the Management of Spinal Conditions with Quantitative Medical Imaging," highlighting how artificial intelligence and quantitative imaging techniques are transforming the evaluation and management of spinal disorders. Norman W. Kettner, DC, DACBR, FICC, DCBCN, Emeritus Professor, Logan University's Department of Radiology, will serve as the moderator for this event.

The event will be hosted in-person on Logan University's campus (classroom G134) from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM CST. A livestream will be available for those unable to attend in person.

One hour of free CE will be provided to those attending the lecture in person or via livestream. There is no charge for this event and the CE is sponsored by Logan University Research and the Department of Continuing Education. Advance registration is required to receive the free hour of continuing education.
