They came to Cheyenne with places to go, trains to catch and every expectation of continuing on their way.

They did not.

What happened to them?

Well… that’s a secret only downtown knows. Keep your eyes open. There may be more to find than candy.

As we say goodbye to two of our downtown neighbors, we'd like to say hello and warm welcome to The Velvet Petal Apothecary, Located at 615 West 20th Street.

After 5 years downtown, Monica, owner of Luxury Lane Fashion Boutique, is on to bigger and better things being a mom and grandma. We thank Monica for bringing fun style to downtown.

Presenzza Variety Store is taking a break to focus on how to create the sense of community they envision. It has been great to walk into the store and see Elizabeth and Jorge and their unique store. We can’t wait to see what they do next.

In railroad terminology, a deadhead is a locomotive, railcar or train traveling without passengers. Which…raises a rather important question. What happened to the passengers?

Imagine a slightly chaotic supernatural railroad town where the living coexist with the… hard to explain... and passengers just keep disappearing. Welcome to the Deadhead Express. A downtown Halloween experience with all the spooky seasonal charm of Halloween and one very important mission. Help the lost passengers get back home.

There’s just one problem:
They can’t board the train without a completed ticket.

That’s where you come in.

Step 1: Become a Junior Conductor at the Cheyenne Depot
Step 2: Pick up your official railroad ticket
Step 3: Travel through downtown collecting candy, experiences and punches at participating stops
Step 4: Return to the Depot with your completed ticket and help send the Lost Passengers home

Keep an eye out for these spirits and other “unusual” residents along the way. Some living. Some not. Some… hard to explain.
