Today’s herb is Shatavari.

First-time client yesterday:

Trauma and resulting scar tissue. Complaint was neck and locked up shoulders.
General listening took me to throat, inhibition that led to the lower hip. Seated client and general listen, this time, no doubt and a strong pull to the hip.
Began work at ASIS, massive restrictions, in fact an entire band that went all the way across. Held on this band, felt the neural connection and held. Within a few seconds the tissue was melting, and then completely opened up.
Post session client stated they hadn’t had as much movement in the abdomen in over 6 years.

This is why I keep going and keep learning. A year ago I only had partial training, a year later I have two more VM classes and a neural class.
It really does make the difference. Gone are the days of elbows digging in and extreme trigger point. Working with the body, not against it. Gentle yet extremely effective bodywork that makes a huge difference.

Today was a bittersweet day as we bid our sweet Autumn farewell in her new business adventure.
Autumn and I have shared working space for over 2 years and this place won’t be the same without her. 😢
I look forward to seeing what she does with Kneaded Break Massage in the future and know that she will build a relaxing and enjoyable spa that is exceptional in quality and services.
