Anderson Elementary PTO

Hi everyone!
Our scholastic book fair begins next week!!! 📚 📕

As of today, here is the schedule for our classes:

Tuesday (10/13)
Mr. R, Williams, Lamm, Lipps, Finnoff, Ramsey, Parker, and Alexander

Wednesday (10/14)
O’D, Weeks, Gutierrez, Kallhoff, Mitchell, Helenbolt, and Woods

We had some new parents with some questions about our book fair!

Can we shop with our child?
•Yes, of course! You can come at their specific time or you can come on family night (10/15)! We will have the fair open that day from 5:30pm-6pm and bingo from 6pm-7pm! Food trucks on site as well!

How much are the books?
•We have books that range anywhere between $2-$20. All of the posters, toys, pens, etc., are between $1-$15.

What type of payments can be used?
•You can send your child with cash (just send a message to your teacher so they are aware).
•You can put money on their e-wallet by doing it online! We have attached the e-wallet link below.
•We also accept check, card, and Apple Pay payments as well!

If you have any other questions, please reach out!! 🩷

Part 2!!!

Ohhhh my goodness… the Anderson Walkathon was PERFECTION yesterday!!! 🦅💛

Minus a little mist in the air, the kids seemed to have an absolute BLAST! We couldn’t have asked for a better day! 🥰

A HUGE thank you to all of our incredible parent volunteers, military volunteers, our amazing Anderson teachers and staff, Rock On Wheels DJ George, and Take 5 for providing shirts for all of our students and staff! We appreciate every single one of you!

And to all of our Hawk families — WOW. We cannot begin to thank all of the parents and kids who worked so hard to raise money to support our school! Your support means SO much to Anderson PTO and allows us to continue providing fun activities, experiences, and resources for our students and teachers. 🥰

We are keeping our Square account open through Monday just in case any last-minute donations come in. We will not be ordering prizes or announcing winners until the end of next week to make sure we give everyone a chance to get their donations turned in and make sure we have everything accounted for!

Thank you again, Hawk families!!! What a WALK-A-THON it was!!! ❤️💛

—We will be adding more photos throughout the next few days. If you have any you would like to share, send them our way!

’Twas the night before the Walkathon, for Anderson Hawks Elementary,
Not a creature was stirring… except for PTO, apparently! 😂
Grab your best shoes and get ready to go,
Because tomorrow’s the day for the Hawk Walk-a-Thon SHOW! 🦅

Okay I’ll see myself out now 😂
But really…we can’t wait to see everyone tomorrow! 😎
