With this week's appearance by Severus the bull snake (named by Q01 staff), let's have a moment! 🐍🐝🦅🐰
We encourage visitors to enjoy our outside exhibits, but PLEASE be aware that the Q01 grounds are "lightly maintained." Our site still serves as the home to a large variety of critters, so be on the lookout for a few of our "natural residents:" bull snakes/rattlesnakes, ground squirrels and the holes they create, birds nesting, wild rabbits, and even potentially harmful plants (like the Great Plains Prickly Pear cactus). If sighted, please don't approach wildlife, and (depending on the critter and/or its location) please let Q01 staff know about it.
Your awareness of the grounds is greatly appreciated, as it helps all guests to in the safest way possible!

Come visit us this Memorial Day Monday (May 25, 2026)!
Not only are we open for the holiday, but we're offering FREE ADMISSION to former and active-duty military members, as our way to further commemorate the special day.
Our historic MAF (Missile Alert Facility) constantly grants Q01 staff gratitude toward service members, throughout the generations of the nuclear mission. Nevertheless, we thank and remember those who gave their all to serve our country.
