Happening Today at LCLS 🦉✂️📚
A couple of schedule changes for today: Wiggle and Giggle and Family Bingo in Cheyenne are canceled. Little Colts Story Time in Burns is all about owls, with stories and a craft, while Tuesday Crafternoon in Pine Bluffs invites you to get creative with bookmarks!

Happening Today at LCLS 🦉🎬💜
Make It Monday at the Burns Branch is getting crafty with owls! In Cheyenne, Selena is on the big screen for Matinee Movies for Mindful Aging, with light refreshments and an optional post-film discussion. Caregivers can also join the AARP Care for Caregivers Series for tips and resources on planning ahead for the financial realities of caregiving, with a complimentary dinner before the presentation.
One of our favorite kinds of library discoveries: the ones you didn’t know you needed until you find them. 👀
Our phone booths at the Cheyenne Library are soundproof, have a little desk for your laptop or papers, and are perfect when you need a quiet, private spot for an interview, telehealth appointment, meeting, studying, reading, or just a little peace and quiet.
One is on the first floor and one is on the third. Consider this your sign to give them a try. 🔎

A little history, a little storytelling, and just the right amount of spooky. 👻
We had a great time at today’s Cemetery Walk, where we stepped into the past and heard the stories of some of the people who helped shape our community. Thanks to everyone who came out and made it such a fun afternoon!

Step into Cheyenne’s past at the Historic Lakeview Cemetery Walk, where costumed actors bring the stories of the people who shaped our community to life. Then head to the Burns Branch for Paint Party: Pumpkins and create your own seasonal masterpiece with acrylics!

Happening Today at LCLS 🧪🍿💬
Book Babies: STEM Sensory Explorers brings a little science and sensory play to early literacy, so wear clothes that can handle some mess! In Cheyenne and Pine Bluffs, Living Room Conversations invites adults to share a meal and have open, guided conversations about aging and ageism or building stronger relationships through friendship. Then settle in for a Friday Matinee, with The Bad Guys 2 in Pine Bluffs or Over the Hedge in Burns, complete with popcorn. Caregivers can also connect and share support at the Dementia Caregiver Support Group in Cheyenne.
