As we wrap up Workforce Development Month, we remain dedicated to empowering Wyoming's workforce with the tools they need for long-term growth. A key part of this mission is the "Forge Your Future" initiative, a partnership between WWDC and the Department of Workforce Services that spotlights in-demand occupations across the state and provides an overview of training and essential career resources to assist job seekers in navigating their pathways to success.

Automation, generative AI, and other megatrends are transforming over 1.1 billion jobs globally over the next decade. Workforce development organizations provide the essential framework to help workers navigate these shifts through reskilling and upskilling, as it is becoming increasingly difficult for individual organizations to provide this training in isolation. As we continue to celebrate Workforce Development Month, we want to recognize the WWDC AI Task Force for its dedicated work in this space!

September is Workforce Development Month! 🌟
Originally launched by the National Association of Workforce Development Professionals in 2005, this month is all about celebrating the career experts and systems that keep our economy strong and help job seekers find long-term success.
One of the most effective ways we do this is through sector partnerships, like the Next Generation Sector Partnerships facilitated by the WWDC. By bridging the gap between industry and education, we ensure that training programs are perfectly aligned with local economic needs. Let’s keep building a stronger workforce together! 💼🚀
