A Frontier Days parade is shown proceeding up Capitol Avenue. The straightaway between the UP Depot and the Wyoming Capitol Building serves as the backbone for Cheyenne's downtown. It is used for all city parades and, in particular, the multiple Frontier Days parades that take place throughout the annual celebration.

There are parades on the 23rd and 25th at 9:00! While you're downtown, stop in the Depot to check out the amazing architecture, the Gift Shop, and the Museum! Or stop by after the pancake breakfast on the 22nd and 24th in the Depot Plaza! (Stimson Collection, WSA)

Depot Days and your chance to see Big Boy 4014 is coming up on August 15 and 16! No need to chase 4014, get up close and personal with 4014 in the Union Pacific Steam Shop. Trolleys will run both days from 9 am till 3 pm from the Depot to the Steam Shop.
