๐ Skills are officially on the move!
Yesterday marked the first rollout of LCCC Outreach & Workforce Developmentโs new Skills on the Move trailer at the Wyoming Air National Guardโs Discovery Day in Cheyenne!
Designed to bring hands-on career exploration directly to students, Skills on the Move gives us a new way to meet students where they are and introduce them to the equipment, skills, and careers available in Wyoming.
For its first outing, the trailer became a mini manufacturing lab, featuring 3D printers, a lathe, a mill, and other hands-on activities that gave students an opportunity to explore the world of modern manufacturing.
And this is just the beginning. ๐
Our vision for Skills on the Move is a flexible, mobile learning space that can evolve to introduce students to even more skilled trades and career pathways in the future.
A project like this takes partnership, and weโre incredibly grateful to Woodward, Inc., Wyoming Innovation Partnership, and Manufacturing Works for helping make Skills on the Move possible. Thank you as well to the Wyoming Air National Guard for giving us such a great opportunity to roll it out for the first time!
We canโt wait to see where Skills on the Move goes next. ๐
