It’s been a quiet month because we’ve been cooking! We are so incredibly excited to share that we are moving... stay tuned because we’re going to need your help!

Join us for a Watani Tabla Class at Lake Katherine!

This class will be guided by an instructor who will focus on developing solid rhythm, introducing technique, and learning fundamentals to Watani Tabla.

If you have your own tabla and lawn chair, please feel free to bring it! Limited tablas will be available for participants who do not have one.

On February 15, we hosted a Ramadan Craft and Story time facilitated by Ala Salameh at Beit Al Turaath with the PFC. We loved learning about the importance of the sacred month in Islam and working on crafts together! We introduced ourselves, read stories, sang songs, and made little lanterns to commemorate Ramadan approaching.

We’ve had an amazing array of events these last few months. From tabla lessons to storytelling for kids to a performance by the Palestinian Youth Ensemble, we love being in community with you all and look forward to many, many more events to come!
