The Lightbulb Factory
The Lightbulb Factory invites theatre artists to create and share new/established works of theatre. Let’s have some good ideas! Interested in collaborating?
The Lightbulb Factory is an ensemble dedicated to the creating and sharing new and established works of performance art. It's primary goals are to facilitate collective based opportunity and collaboration through development of primarily new works. The Lightbulb Factory originally began January 2020 as a solo project dedicated the development and performance of new and existing monologues. It's initial cycle: Covers, consisted of short performances of monologues from contemporary playwrights ranging from Tom Stoppard to Rajiv Joseph. In October 2020, TLF began developing it's second full cycle: Love Songs(EP), a short monologue series by Dakota Pariset. The workshop and rehearsal period began in November and subsequent recordings were edited, with each video premiering every week, running from mid-January to late February 2021. Currently in pre-production for it's forthcoming, currently untitled third cycle, as well as a series of educational and process focused episodes, tentatively titled "Illuminations," TLF continues to cut it's teeth as a new Chicago theatre ensemble.
