Pivoting while waiting for your dream job.. part 2
REIGN NEXT LEADERSHIP PROGRAM | LEARNING TO PIVOT!
Tonight, we talked about a life lesson every young person needs to understand: Your first job may not be your dream job, and THAT’S OKAY!
Graduation doesn’t always mean stepping directly into your chosen career. Sometimes you have to work jobs you never imagined, gain experience, build connections, and develop skills along the way.
We discussed the importance of learning to PIVOT, staying focused, and understanding that every opportunity can be a stepping stone toward your bigger goals.
Your journey may not look exactly how you planned, but that doesn’t mean you’re not making progress!
The goal isn’t to start at the top. It’s to keep climbing!
Creating Solutions, Not Excuses!
REIGN NEXT LEADERSHIP PROGRAM | CLASS #2
Tonight, our future leaders stepped into the world of MARKETING
We explored how to market a business, build a personal brand, and understand that YOU are your own walking advertisement!
From making first impressions to promoting your skills and talents, our youth learned that how you present yourself matters just as much as what you bring to the table!
We’re not just preparing them for jobs… we’re preparing them to become LEADERS, ENTREPRENEURS, and THE BRAND!
Creating Solutions, Not Excuses!
Marketing101
Tonight we officially completed our FIRST Youth Leadership class!
16 young leaders from across Chicago and the suburbs showed up at 7PM ready to LEARN! They participated, asked questions, shared their thoughts, and stayed engaged the entire time.
I thought getting teenagers excited about a 7PM class might be tricky… but THEY DID THAT!
This is only the beginning. Leadership is loading…

THE NEXT GENERATION OF LEADERS IS READY TO REIGN!
On September 15, 2026, our INAUGURAL Reign Next Leadership Cohort officially begins!
For six weeks, our young leaders will be challenged to grow, think differently, develop professionally, and learn what it truly means to LEAD.
And you already know—we need that P.E.P. in their step!
Presence. Effort. Proactivity.
But we’re not stopping with Cohort 1!
Registration for Cohort 2 opens November 2, 2026!
Are YOU ready to be NEXT?
Learn it. Practice it. Earn it. Lead it. Teach it forward.
