REPLICANT

While Replicant goes back into the fog until our next performance, we wanted to share some other exciting projects we’ve got in the pipeline.

I’ve got two projects I’m hoping to release music under this year. SPUR () is the darker side of western, exploring a sonic frontier I’ve never dabbled in before. Hoping to release my first EP by Summer. 📷:

Sledgehammer (.inc), my heavier industrial/EBM project is also set to return sometime this Spring with a new EP “CHICAGO STEEL” and hopefully (finally) make our live debut.

’s new company has been making waves with their innovative new SpaceDrum: the world’s first smart drum machine combining generative beat-making with real-time audio reactivity. They’ve been hosting intimate SpaceDrum Sessions featuring short sets from Chicago artists demonstrating SpaceDrum’s abilities. Stay tuned to hear when the next one is! They’ve been a lot of fun! They’ll also be at in May, so contact them if you want to get hands on!

has some great DJ sets coming up in the next few months. Check her page for details. She’s also working on an exciting new Giallo-inspired project called STILETTA (.stiletta), more on that soon as well.

We’ve got a smattering of shows we’re working on for Summer (not all in Chicago), so until then…

Chicago trio Replicant start the year focused on a synthwave future - Chicago Reader Chicago trio Replicant slip their icy heart into dark leather boots to dance in the well-trodden midnight haunts of goth and postpunk bands such as Joy Division, the Cure, and Bauhaus.

Beyond excited for our first SYNTH AND STEEL: a night of Chicago’s coldest, and the return of the almighty VISCERAL ANATOMY, along with our good friends ECHODROIDES, and the incomparable SNAKE EATER. ⛓️⛓️⛓️

Also excited to have back on bass duties for this one. We’ll be playing some deep cuts and tracks we haven’t played in years (or ever for that matter), so do NOT miss this one!
