While the menu includes a wide selection of sushi, maki, and sashimi, there are plenty of options for guests who are not sushi fans, including ribeye teriyaki, salmon teriyaki, chicken katsu, shrimp and vegetable tempura, gyoza, bao, and other Japanese appetizers.

For dessert, the matcha cheesecake, mochi ice cream, and ube Japanese cheesecake all sound like tempting ways to end the meal.

This was such an amazing time and so much fun!! This is going to need a repeat for sure for August... It was fun just moving out on the dance floor!! You might spot a few cowboys!! Yeehaw!!

Register and come out and join us for Country line dancing this evening at 5:00pm.. start off with a cocktail, and then start to twirl!! Beginners are always welcome, and we will have an instructor for the evening....

It was a most enjoyable time, a little rain drizzle, but fine.. Not this beautiful oasis take you away from your daily grind for an afternoon.

25th Anniversary Picnic (Free Event): Second Annual Summer Picnic • Albany Park

Relax in the park, enjoy good food, and cool off at your own pace.

Join us for our second annual laid-back summer picnic in the park. As part of our 25th anniversary celebrations, this is a free CPT event, with the club covering the cost of the park permit and a catered hot lunch. We’ll have a reserved covered pavilion with picnic tables, making it easy to sit, eat, and socialize comfortably rain or shine.

We’ll be returning to the same pavilion we used last year, located in the Irene C. Hernandez Forest Preserve on Foster Avenue. The pavilion is just west of the public pool.

You’re welcome to enjoy the day however you like. Relax in our covered pavilion, bring a lawn chair to enjoy the shade of the mature trees, take a walk on the nearby trails, play games, read, visit with friends, or simply enjoy the day. If you’d like to swim, bring your swimsuit and take advantage of the nearby park district facility, which is about a 10-minute walk away.

After lunch, representatives from PrimeTimers Worldwide will make a special presentation recognizing Chicago PrimeTimers’ 25th anniversary. We’ll also take a group photo after lunch.
