It isn't motivation — it's removing friction.
What are your 4?
Dad strength isn't gym strength. It's grip endurance. Trained to be the pack mule of my family. Groceries in, sports bags out, scooters, bins. The garage workout was the easy part.
I made a bottle of Freezer Door Old Fashioneds and there was one problem... they were too strong.
One fix: added 2 oz water per 750ml — better with water.
Keeping this.

I don’t have marriage, parenting, or keeping a house together figured out. But a ten-minute reset before the evening rush helps all six of us. It’s our house.
Slept like crap?
I don't pretend I feel normal. I just adjust.
Same movements, about 10% lighter. One fewer set. 20-minute cap.
And if the warm-up still feels off after a few minutes, I walk or do some easy mobility instead and come back tomorrow.
What do you change when sleep is short?
Fatherhood can make life fuller and friendship quieter at the same time. Sometimes the useful move is to send the text first. Which friend have you been meaning to check on?
Clearing four kids' plates and taking "just one more bite" can quietly turn into a meal. At some point I have to be done looking at the scraps. 😂 Parents: which leftover gets you every time?

A garage gym is one of the best tools a busy dad can have: no commute, no waiting, short workouts still count and the kids can see training as part of normal life. What’s your favorite part of training at home?

Your family doesn’t have to eat like you for your fat-loss plan to work.
Most of the time, I meal-prep my own meals. Sometimes I use the family meal as a base and adjust the protein, portions, sides or toppings.
The goal isn’t identical meals. It’s having a realistic option ready before dinner gets busy.
If you know what to eat but can’t make it work consistently around family life, message me COACHING.
I’m 44. I’m not just training for my kids anymore. I’m training for the grandpa I hope to become—the one who can still carry the bags, get on the floor and keep saying yes.
