Hello all...No words to say how heartbroken we all are by the sudden passing of one of our founding members, Dr. Seth Koch. He was more than a leader — he was a mentor, a colleague, and a friend to so many of us. His passion, generosity, and unwavering commitment to Veterinary Ophthalmology helped shape not only ACVO but the people within.

He gave so much of himself to this profession, and his presence will be deeply missed. His legacy in veterinary ophthalmology lives on in the values he instilled and the community he helped create.

We will honor his memory and keep his spirit alive each year through his Midwest Veterinary Ophthalmology Society meeting, ensuring that what he gave continues to inspire future generations. We look forward to seeing everyone in February 2026 in Chicago.

happy almost thanksgiving to one and all...a message for the midwest meeting, the oldest regional meeting in the u.s.a. ....at the Gwen hotel for the 8th year in downtown chicago on the miracle mile. the meeting starts friday night with a get together and then sat and sun from 8ish to noonish, breakfast included...the cost for 8 hours of c.e. is 300 for dips and 250 for residents, students. the dates are the last 2 of feb and the first of march...room rate at the hotel is 159 plus tax ( normal rate at the hotel is 400 ) The rate will hold till feb 14 th....the phone number is 312 645 1500 and when calling mention midwest to get the rate..if you want to present something clinical ( no reading of presentation!!!!!) send your info to Paige
