What style rules did you grow up with?

Growing up outside of Paris, Catherine Montague was influenced by her grandmother who ran a couture salon, and her mother who instilled a strict personal dress code. (She was the only girl not allowed to wear pants.)

When she moved to America, she was inspired by the freedom to try new things and to find her own style, a freedom she now shares with her clients, and her family.

Josette spent twenty years in corporate, building a successful career and becoming a confidence coach along the way.

And then perimenopause showed up during the pandemic along with a series of personal challenges, and she suddenly found herself in a body she didn’t recognize.

Realizing she had been putting herself last, she put her own tools to work since, in her words, “even a confidence coach needs a little coaching sometimes.”

What followed was a new chapter: launching her signature program Josette Michelle Gastonguay and opening FYIE BOUTIQUES | Women’s Fashion & Accessories in Mars PA to helping women build their style confidence.
