Happy birthday to James Pankow, musician, songwriter, trombonist and a founding member of the Hall of Fame band Chicago.

Chicago did a nice photo montage of band members past and present. I only have a single photo (a video would have been more appropriate) but use your imagination as the various photos flew in on the videowall throughout the song.

Chicago and Styx performing at the Allstate Arena this past weekend was off the charts amazing. Here are a few images from the Chicago set that closed out the night. This night brought back endless memories from two historic bands. Rock on 🤘

I hadn’t seen Rachel Williams in a long time and I was able to say hello to her and her husband Jordy last week after the Wiseguys show. Saying hello reminded me of an old photo that, at least in my head, is Patrick Nagel inspired. Rock on 🤘

As I mention on my Instagram page, I like to photograph the rock stars performing on Mother Nature’s stage too. The Chicago Botanic Garden has become one of my favorite places.
