2012 Spotlight Award winner for Event Planner of the year, Frank J. He is an active member of ABC and ISES, NACE and WIPA. Frank’s work and expertise has been featured on television and radio, and numerous publications. His designs for tabletop were have been featured in Traditional Home Magazine. He speaks regularly on Event and Wedding Planning, serves a Wedding Fashion Show Commentator both locally and nationally and was voted Chicago’s Favorite Wedding Planner in 2005. He a GALA Award Winner in 2011 for Best Wedding Budget over $1000 per guest and multi time nominee, and has won 16 NACE/ISES Chicago Excellence Awards for Event Planning and Design. He was the Chicagoland Wedding Expert on TheKnot.com. and obtained the designation Master Wedding Planner. He was also the recipient of the Penner Award for his passion and excellence to the Wedding Industry. Frank is also on staff at DePaul University as an adjunct professor teaching etiquette in the School of Hospitality Leadership. He recently served on the Board of Directors of the Chicago Chapter of the Wedding Industry Professionals Association. His unique and out of the box Event details make him a highly sought after wedding and event consultant.

I love working with couples when the walk down the aisle is not their first. They tend to want a more untraditional wedding. So of course, I dive into all the details with a much more out of a box and unexpected flare. Not only the decor and the food, but also the music. For one wedding, I started out with an acapella choir for ceremony, , rock violin show for cocktails, an incredible jazz singer for dinner, and instead of dancing I created a dueling piano lounge. I love making these client’s wedding experiences even more unique. So when I come up with these entertainment concepts, one resource is I turn to is Mary Rothe of Mary Rothe and she will find a great match for my idea. Her musical (and non musical) entertainment have graced my events since right after I started planning events, a “ few” years back.

Service a la Russe, or commonly called “ Russian service” is still used at some high end hotels. This differs from French service as seen in Downton Abbey. I cover these in my Frankly Speaking Etiquette training. ( which covers much, much more than just dining etiquette)
