AI-Powered Board Training Available on CTSNet

AI-powered board training is available to CTSNet users now with the Oral Board AI Simulator (OBAS), developed through the Ed Curtis Laboratory for Innovation in Medical Education (ECLIME) at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine. In just 30 minutes, you can create an account, choose a specialty and topic area, complete a timed examination with a realistic AI examiner, work through the case, and receive graded feedback. CTSNet users can access OBAS for free while providing feedback to shape future versions of the simulator.

Using a computer with headphones provides the best experience. To maximize the value of this tool, complete at least two cases followed by the brief post-session survey. Most users find that the second case is when they truly settle into the format and see the most benefit.
