TBA

Happy 6-year anniversary to Lost Files — the first official album release from TBA.

Originally released on March 20, 2020, during the VBE (Valley Boy Entertainment) era, a collective built by Thaddeus and close friends from high school alongside other local artists.

Before this, TBA had already dropped multiple mixtapes and EPs, but Lost Files marked a turning point. This is one of his first projects where he fully invested in his craft, paying for studio time and professional mixing and mastering. Even in his early stages, he moved independently, handling everything from artwork and studio sessions to branding, marketing, and management.

The project holds standout moments like “Blue Haze,” a tribute to Miguel “Silky” Ford, along with tracks like “Been Trill” (with a music video), “Add It Up” ft. & .skm , “Past Days” ft. , and “Pain” ft. . Even in these early records, you can hear the hunger, chemistry, and star potential from the start.

Lost Files was more than just a project, it was the foundation. A glimpse of what was to come, created during a time when it was all about passion, growth, and being truly independent.

Grateful for everyone who was part of this era, and for those who have been rocking since day one.

On behalf of the Ampadu family…

Thank you to everyone who came out to the listening party for “the lost years: the destination?”

It was a beautiful night sharing space with the people who helped make this project possible, along with friends and family who loved and appreciated Thaddeus and the impact he left on all of us.

Not only were we able to celebrate the release of his final project, but we were also able to celebrate his life together and bring in his birthday (3.9.1999).

Special thanks to ._ampadu , , .mufasa , , and for helping host and organize the event.

Thank you to for controlling the sounds throughout the night, and to for allowing us to use the space where so much of this project was created.

Collectibles from the event are still available for anyone who couldn’t attend. Proceeds will go toward the TBA Foundation (more information coming soon). In the meantime please reach out too or .mufasa if you would like to obtain shirts, CDs, and/or vinyls.

Happy birthday TBA. Forever missed but never forgotten. 🖤♾️🕊️
