The point is people didn’t succeed early in life. You did well and that’s something to be proud of. Others figured things out much later and went back to school only to find themselves being let go from a promising career path and now struggling after 40 to lock down a similar paying job but yes, be prepared to do what others won’t. That can mean making a midlife pivot. Networking in real life while also applying to jobs at the same time. People are also getting booted by Ai systems early in the process and CEO’s are complaining that resumes lack “signal” due to their own filtering. Times have changed and it’s time to get creative.
That is the win. No revenge. Just finding your happy again.
