Supporting HIV care and prevention services for children, adolescents, and young adults on the South Side of Chicago.
Care2Prevent (C2P) is a program created by the University of Chicago Medicine Comer Children’s Hospital whose mission is to eliminate/prevent new infections of HIV/STI among young people living in Chicago by providing comprehensive medical care to people living with HIV/STIs and education to the South Side community. C2P’s team provides comprehensive medical care, social support, group level interventions, and patient education to young people living with HIV/STI. In addition to many targeting prevention outreach programs, C2P conducts research on pediatric to adult care transition.

C2P want to show you the example of green and red flags when it comes to the conversation about HIV and STI. If you didn't know we test people for HIV and STI fror FREE in our office and mobile van, DM us for more info.
Let’s learn about HIV. HIV cannot be transmitted through saliva. It is predominantly transmitted through blood and s*x fluids.
