Crossroads Fund supports community organizations working on issues of racial, social and economic justice in the Chicago area.

At Crossroads Fund we believe that big change can come from small beginnings. Some of the biggest victories weโ€™ve seen in this city, from accessible public transit for people with disabilities, to the successful campaign to abolish the death penalty in Illinois, started out as small grassroots movements that were considered too radical for most funders. The ๐—ฌ๐—ผ๐˜‚๐˜๐—ต ๐—™๐˜‚๐—ป๐—ฑ ๐—ณ๐—ผ๐—ฟ ๐—ฆ๐—ผ๐—ฐ๐—ถ๐—ฎ๐—น ๐—–๐—ต๐—ฎ๐—ป๐—ด๐—ฒ provides resources to youth activists in Chicago working to change and challenge existing policies and/or organized structures that prevent their communities from achieving equality.

Grant amounts are between $๐Ÿฑ,๐Ÿฌ๐Ÿฌ๐Ÿฌ - $๐Ÿญ๐Ÿฑ,๐Ÿฌ๐Ÿฌ๐Ÿฌ depending on the size of the project and what it will cover.

In Fiscal Year 2025, we moved $4.29 million to 231 powerful organizations. These numbers tell the story of a realized vision and a collective ability to respond to the immediate needs of our communities while also working towards our collective, liberated future. The annual report is a reflection of the grantee's courage, the generosity of our donors and the solidarity of the philanthropic community.

Crossroads Fund joins our community in mourning the passing of beloved community leader, Amisha Patel. Her impact, generosity, and unwavering commitment to racial, social, and economic justice will continue to inspire all who knew her.
