Congratulations to Envoys Jesse and Samantha Links and their entire team, on the grand opening of our newest Salvation Army ARC Thrift Store in Ballwin, Missouri. Seeing neighbors, community leaders, Chamber members, Salvation Army colleagues & supporters, and so many shoppers fill the store on day one was an incredible blessing.

Our Thrift Stores are more than just a place to shop. Every donation and purchase helps support The Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center, providing hope, recovery, and a second chance for lives to be restored.

We’re honored to partner with our friends from The Salvation Army Indiana Division - The Salvation Army Indiana Division - along with local leaders, community partners, volunteers, and supporters, to stand with the people of Gary, Indiana as they continue recovering from the devastating storms and extended power outages that have impacted so many families.

A special thank you to Keith Lee, Keith Lee - whose compassion and commitment to helping others helped bring this effort together. After seeing the challenges facing the Gary community, Keith used his platform to raise awareness, rally support, and inspire action. His willingness to shine a light on the needs of others reminds us how powerful service can be when people come together for a greater purpose.

While the recovery journey is far from over, today was a powerful reminder that hope is stronger when it is shared. We’ve witnessed neighbors helping neighbors, volunteers giving their time, and organizations working side by side to ensure families have the support they need to move forward.

Thank you to everyone who showed up, donated, volunteered, and prayed. Together, we’re not just providing supplies and assistance. We’re reminding people that they are seen, valued, and not alone.

It is both an honor and a bittersweet moment to recognize the faithful service of Majors Cathy and Todd Thielke as they conclude their appointment with the Adult Rehabilitation Centers Command.
Major Cathy Thielke has served as our General Secretary, providing steady leadership, guidance, and care across Human Resources, HRIS, and Property functions. Major Todd Thielke, as our Secretary for Mission Integration and Marketing, has helped strengthen our mission, and connect our work to those we serve.

Together, their leadership has been marked by faithfulness and a deep commitment to the mission.

This tribute is not only from leadership, but from the entire ARC Command family. Representing our staff, we are grateful for the voices and reflections shared by Julio Romero (Real Estate Development), Diane Lazcano (HR), Hamza Karim (HRIS) and Alberto Rapley Jr. (Business Development & Texhnology). Each tribute reflectsed what so many of us feel … deep appreciation for leaders who cared not just about the work, but about the people behind it.
