Echos of the Afterlife: John D. Nichols Collection of Ancient Chinese Tomb Pottery
June 4 - October 24, 2026
Chicago business titan and philanthropist John Nichols amassed one of the country’s largest collections of Chinese tomb pottery over a 30-year period. The Golden Triangle was privileged to host the only gallery showing and sale of this collection. In our 36-year history, we’d never done a “white cube” gallery show before, let alone a presentation of such a large and distinguished collection. It was a curator’s treat and logistical feat! We’re very grateful to Alexandra Nichols for giving us the opportunity.
