Attempting to Break the Record on This MASSIVE Pad Thai Challenge!

I'm at Little Thai in Valencia, Spain, which is home to a massive Pad Thai Challenge. This challenge comes with more than bragging rights. Finish the 2-kilogram (4.5 lb) Pad Thai in under an hour and Little Thai hands you a free meal, a hat, your name on the Wall of Fame, a dinner for two, and a winery tour around Valencia for two. That's a strong incentive on its own, but the real reason I'm here is the clock. A 14-minute record was just set, and I came to see if I could take it down.

The Restaurant DARED Me To Finish TWO COMBINED Food Challenges!

Bar El Holandés Errante is a Flying Dutchman-themed spot in central Valencia. Think pirate décor, ghost-ship touches, and genuine Dutch pub classics. They told me one challenge wasn't enough, so I'm tackling their XXL El Gran Shoarma (2kg of kebab meat, cheese, fries, and Dutch garlic sauce) combined with the XXL El Gran Guarrete, a massive pork and bacon sandwich. Time limit: 40 minutes. Reward: a free meal, a shirt, and a shot at the Wall of Fame.

Taking On Spain's MASSIVE Man vs Food Pizza and Pasta Challenge!

This stop on the food challenge tour brought me to Il Vulcano Ristorante Pizzeria in Valencia, Spain, for their Man vs Food Pizza and Pasta Challenge. This Italian food challenge includes a 45 cm (18 inch) pizza covered in cheddar cheese, bacon, beef, onions, mushrooms, and Spianata Calabrese, a large order of 4 cheese spaghetti, a cheesecake dessert, and a drink, all to be finished within 30 minutes. Complete it and the meal's on the house (€25), plus you get a t-shirt to take home.

And since pizza is involved, I'm suited up in my Michelangelo hoodie! 🍕🐢😎👍

Battling Madrid's BIGGEST Seafood Paella Challenge for Charity!

This seafood paella challenge weighs in at over 6.5 lbs and comes loaded with shrimp, calamari, chicken, pork, eggplant, and peppers, all inside a massive pan of rice at Daily Meal in Alcobendas, just outside Madrid. I've got one hour to work through it, plus two drinks I have to finish along the way. My friend "Dave Cheats" would also be attempting the challenge alongside me.

This challenge costs €25 whether you win or not, but if you win, you get your photo up on their wall of fame, and you get to eat free once per weekday for a full month. Since I wouldn't be able to make use of that if I won, the restaurant agreed to donate my prize to local charity, “Cáritas Madrid.”

Attempting to Finish This Spanish Burger Challenge in 10 Minutes!

Day 26 of the tour brings me to Bentley's in Spain for a group hangout with fellow Spanish content creators Joe Burgerchallenge, Sezar Blue, La Cocina Del Pirata , and Dave Cheats. We were all taking on the "Reto del Kilo" burger challenge, which has a variety of burger options. to choose from. I went with the Cabrales, a bold Spanish blue cheese burger with rocket salad and caramelized onions, something a little outside what I'd normally pick.

What was supposed to be a relaxed day turned into a bit of pressure when the local news showed and my friends were making bold claims, saying I could easily finish this in 10 minutes. With the local news intrigued to see me accomplish this feat, I felt the need to try and not disappoint!
