Twenty-one were adopted during the final week of ! 🎉 Thanks to BISSELL Pet Foundation, families saved on adoption fees—and 21 cats found their next chapter in a flash! With adoption fees reduced to $50 for adult cats and $70 for kittens, it was a week full of happy endings. 🐾

Riviera is the kind of guy who’s always ready for a good chat, a cozy nap, and plenty of quality time together. He’ll spend his days snoozing nearby and tuck you in at bedtime—just like the loving grandpa who always made sure you were taken care of.

Got something on your mind? Riviera is an excellent listener and has sage advice to offer: “Meow, meow, meow.” 😸 He loves all the pets (belly rubs included!) and can’t wait to be your number one guy. Because everyone deserves a wise, doting companion like Riviera.

A home worth waiting for. 🥹

For over a year and a half, Honeysauce was an iconic face on the Tree House adoption floor. But all that time, whether in a cat condo or with various foster volunteers, only helped us get to know him and his ideal home that much better. 💓

Earlier this year, Mr. Sauce found that happy place where he could be his quirky self with the support and patience of a loving family. “He has been slowly inching closer and closer to us on the couch … and in our hearts,” says his new family. He’s even started sleeping in between his paw-rents at night! 😴

Sometimes a cat’s journey has a few extra detours and miles, but for Honeysauce, the destination has been well worth it. 🗺️

*Cats at Work is a harm reduction program for cats who wouldn’t thrive in a traditional home and often have few pathways out of shelters. Through the program, cats are transferred from shelters and placed in working cat colonies in residential or commercial settings, where dedicated caretakers provide food, water, shelter, and ongoing veterinary care, giving them the opportunity to live safely and comfortably outdoors.

Tom & Mary Prescott have supported Tree House Humane Society for more than 30 years, demonstrating their longstanding commitment to animal welfare in their community. Tom served on Tree House’s Board of Directors from 2009 to 2016, including as Treasurer, and has volunteered at other local animal shelters. Tom & Mary live with their two cats, Kermit and Tippy, and dog, Bella, in Glen Ellyn.
