Howdy y’all! This Saturday come on out to Charlie’s Chicago 🤠 before dance from 4pm to 7pm so we can celebrate Fifi Depraved’s 70th birthday! 🎂🎈

For those who don’t know, Fifi was our regular Saturday night DJ pre Charlie’s renovation ~ she showed up and kept us dancing year after year so let’s show up & party hard for her 🥳🎉

Join us Thursday, August 13th for an SCCDA members’ meeting!

The board and committee chairs invite everyone to a community meeting at Third Space Chicago (716 W Addison; corner of Broadway, two blocks south of Charlie’s) from 6:30 - 9pm. Pizza will be served, compliments of the SCCDA board. 🍕

SCCDA is a member-supported, board-driven, not-for-profit organization that relies on volunteers for its work. Many new members have joined in recent months, so we’d like to offer the opportunity to learn about SCCDA’s structure, leadership, and the importance of membership.

We’ll introduce the board and committee chairs and provide an overview of how decisions are made, how work gets done, and how our relationship with Charlie’s works. We will also share more about how members can get involved beyond dancing, and there will be time for discussion and feedback.
