We will be closed from Thursday August 13- Friday August 21 for a film shoot.

What this means-

- Scheduled service is full from now until August 13.

- Any service brought in that needs to be scheduled (including tune ups, special orders, any e bike work) will be scheduled out after August 22.

- For services scheduled out, we cannot store the bike. It will have to be brought back after August 22.

- Short services (including flat tires on regular bikes, individual adjustments, and in- stock installs of racks, grips, etc ) can be brought in as normal, but may be subject to scheduling out as the service queue fills up.

- Services completed from now until August 12 need to be picked by August 12, or else they will be inaccessible until August 22.

- ALL Ebikes/Scooters/Motorized things MUST BE PICKED UP. Any electric thing left on August 12 will be subject to a storage and handling fee of $100. This does not apply to non-electric bikes.

Q- Can I still come in with a bike between now and August 12?
A- Yes, but depending on what you need done, you may have to take the bike with you and bring it back on the scheduled date.

Q- I have a completed bike, but I cannot pick it up until after August 12, and would like to pick it up before August 22.
A- Please contact the shop via phone or email.

Q- What do I do for service between August 12-22?
A- Chicago is a big city, any other shop should be able to help.

Hello Friends,

Today, we'll gather at the shop to celebrate the life of Ronnie LoBello, who passed away unexpectedly on March 29.

Ronnie was our friend and mechanic for 32 years. He graced our lives with the comfort and reassurance of his daily presence. His skills and handiwork are woven into objects and systems we depend on and interact with every day, and his musical tastes, sense of humor and of the absurd, love of all creatures great and small have reshaped parts of our identities.

Despite not having any living family of his own, he was so tightly stitched into the fabric of our daily rhythms and routines that we considered him our family❤️.

We will gather this afternoon from 4 to 7 to reconnect with old friends, and share stories and memories of Ronnie. We would be touched and honored if you stop by.
