Thank you to our partners at The Chicago Public Education Fund for hosting a district-wide candidate forum where community members heard directly from those running and a special shoutout to our K1C parents for facilitating all 10 district conversations!

Still taking this moment in. 💚
For years, Kids First Chicago has been doing the work alongside families and communities to build awareness toward an elected Chicago Board of Education. To see that work culminate in a historic School Board President forum, broadcast live on WTTW to all of Chicago, was truly special.
We’re so grateful to WTTW - Chicago PBS for giving this moment the platform it deserved, and our incredible K1C team for the years of work, persistence, and care that helped get us here.
THANK YOU!
