ASI is a 48-year old non-profit agency providing quality homecare services to over 800 post-acute, elderly and disabled individuals annually. ASI currently provides over 33,000 of service hours per month across the Chicago area. ASI’s dedicated staff make it possible for seniors and people with disabilities live a more dignified life at home. Originally created as an employment agency in 1975, ASI has evolved into the leading home care agency in Chicago providing bilingual, bicultural services to a diverse client base (60% Latino, 40% African American) of people in need and private pay clients. The agency currently contracts with Illinois Department on Aging's Community Care Program, Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH)/Division of Rehabilitation Services and the Mayor’s Office for People with Disability Title IIIB for Short Term and Heavy Duty services.

Last Thursday, we were a part of one of the biggest festivals in the Chicago area dedicated to our seniors! We loved seeing a lot of new faces but also the many familiar faces that stopped by our booth. We are so thankful for the opportunity to serve you!

Certain life events may qualify you for a special enrollment period for example if there are any changes in your residence. This includes a permanent move from another state into Illinois, or within Illinois if different coverage area. It can also include a student moving to or from the place they attend school.
Typically, you have a 60-day window before or after the event to apply for a Special Enrollment Period.

As construction appreciation week comes to an end we wanted to reflect on the success done through our workforce development. We are so happy to see the success of our 1st cohort as well as current 2nd cohort that is nearing the end of their program!

We invite you to join ASI as we come together to support the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's 2026 to honor our clients, family members, caregivers and loved ones whose lives have been impacted by Alzheimer's and dementia.
As an organization dedicated to supporting seniors and other individuals with disabilities, we see firsthand the importance of compassionate care and support for families who are personally affected by Alzheimer's disease. By walking with ASI or donating to the cause, you are helping raise awareness and support efforts toward a future free of Alzheimer's.
We strongly encourage you to register to join the walk, if you are unable to attend please consider making a donation towards this meaningful event. Whether you join us for the walk, make a donation, your support makes an immense difference to ASI and the Alzheimer's Association. You can also create your own walk team. Jet's Pizza is partnering with the Alzheimer's Association Illinois Chapter now through Oct. 31 to support local families facing Alzheimer's and other dementia. Every Alzheimer's Association Cinnamon Stix ordered at Jet's Pizza locations across the Chicago area sends 10% of proceeds to the Association, funding care, support and research.
