The Urantia Book: Revealing the Mysteries of God, the Universe, Jesus, and Ourselves.

PRINCIPAL OBJECT: The object for which this Foundation is created is the promotion, improvement, and expansion among the peoples of the world of the comprehension and understanding of Cosmology and the relation of the planet on which we live to the Universe, of the genesis and destiny of Man and his relation to God, and of the true teachings of Jesus Christ; and for the inculcation and encouragement of the realization and appreciation of the Fatherhood of God and the Brotherhood of Man--in order to increase and enhance the comfort, happiness, and well being of Man, as an individual and as a member of society, through the fostering of a religion, a philosophy, and a cosmology which are commensurate with Man's intellectual and cultural development. CONCORDANT OBJECTS: The concordant objects for which the Foundation is created are to perpetually preserve inviolate the text of The Urantia Book and to disseminate the principles, teachings, and doctrines of The Urantia Book.

Divine love does not merely forgive wrongs; it absorbs and actually destroys them.

Sometimes what we call peace is the absence of conflict.

We avoid a difficult conversation. We let go of something that matters. We choose what feels easier simply because we want the struggle to end.

But The Urantia Book makes an important distinction: genuine peace is not something we secure “at any price.”

Some things are worth struggling for. Some difficulties cannot—and should not—be avoided.

Enduring peace is not an escape from the challenges of life. It is the peace we carry with us as we face them.

It’s easy to feel peaceful when life is going well.

But what happens when it isn’t?

Jesus spoke of a peace not dependent on an easy life or the absence of trouble. In fact, he spoke some of his most powerful words about peace while preparing his friends for the difficulties ahead.

Enduring peace is something deeper—a peace that remains even when our circumstances are uncertain or tumultuous.

Courageous loyalty is brave enough to stand firm—and wise enough to know how.

The apostle Thomas is often remembered for his doubts. But The Urantia Book gives us a more nuanced portrait of him.

Thomas questioned. He analyzed. He doubted. And yet the book describes him as possessing “a form of courageous loyalty.”

His story gives us a more complicated picture of both courage and faith. When Thomas finally made up his mind, the book describes his courage as “unflinching.”

Courageous loyalty doesn’t require us to stop asking sincere questions. It asks what we do when our convictions are tested.

It’s easy to stand by what we believe when nothing is testing it.

Courageous loyalty becomes visible when there is pressure to compromise, retreat, or simply go along.

Jesus described the highest form of courage as something deeper than physical bravery: loyalty to our most profound spiritual convictions.

Courageous loyalty asks us to know what we truly believe—and have the courage to live accordingly.
