Happy Halloween 🎃… so we do our best to make all our pages fun and community based, but we are taking this moment to make a suggestion. We know it’s 2025 and the new norm is streaming. But, unlike many situations, streaming has service/subscription options. If you read the news, they generally don’t pay great to artists, but they are also here to stay. One services pays the worst, but is also the most popular… they also have a head of company who has made questionable investments in things that are things we (The Matches) don’t support as well as running ads recruiting people to do things we also don’t support… did I mention they pay the worst to artists?… anyway, this is our Halloween Soapbox to encourage looking into other options moving forward. We know it’s a hard ask, because we use what we use. We like what we like… but you’d be surprised what one action can do and say… if you are interested in getting deeper into the weeds, our Mananger wrote a blog about it recently that pretty much gives a (readable) breakdown… link to that as well as alternative streaming services are in our linktree (link below)… thanks for reading and thanks for being awesome
