Grand Master MyungSu YuSung Kim at the first Peace Day Chicago in 1978. Grand Master Kim felt strongly it was important to have a day to reflect on peace and celebrate each other's cultures to build unity. We all feel his presence and inspiration deeply as we celebrate the 48th Anniversary of Peace Day in Chicago on Monday, 9/21/26 at Daley Plaza.
