We’re obsessed with the front bedroom roof lines at the Mozart Project. The lucky kid who gets to enjoy it is already planning their decor. We don’t blame them.

The Swainwood project front yard may be battered by the necessary equipment to build an addition, but it’s still looking pretty in the sun. Maybe construction is the new curb appeal?

How does a new shower come together? Lots of measuring, marking, and cutting. The Oakdale bathroom is getting closer to realizing its top floor primary suite potential.

Priorities are EVERYTHING. We recently toured this stunning primary bath with a client and they couldn’t get over it. If you’re a Chicagoan in an old apartment you know why. 3 bed. 1 bath. The thought of not sharing a bathroom with their kids was huge!!

What is your dream house must have and why?

It started with a call about whether we could get a golf simulator in a 6 foot basement. That turned into:

- a 5 foot digout
- a color drenched basement
- a top floor update
- a first floor gut
- a custom kitchen

Because when you know your block is your block for life, you make the house exactly what you want

It’s been a bungalow summer and we’re loving it. We’ve had four bungalows occupying our summer. This one on Monticello in Albany Park came out beautifully. Our client moved from a new construction condo and was unfamiliar with Chicago’s most popular style of home. We loved working with him to breathe new life into this beautifully maintained house and make it ideal for how he wanted to live.

Pssstt. They’re your walls…you can do whatever you want you want! Whether it’s a peacock instead of wallpaper, an octopus on the back porch, or a chalkboard in the kitchen, getting creative is one of the perks of owning your home.

If future resale is a concern, we’ve never seen a potential buyer disappointed by a little personalization.

Our client is under contract on this Medical District townhome. We love the light that waterfalls down this staircase but are unsure about the railing. How would you like to see it finished?

Our clients wanted a tub. We didn’t want to waste any of the top floor. A wet room with a tub tucked into the sloping ceiling adorned with this textured blue (or is it indigo) tile beautifully brought those desires together.

Let’s talk “existing site conditions.” We tell every client that what we find behind the walls could change the scope, timeline, and/or budget. In this case, we wanted to save the existing framing of the old enclosed back porch. But the second the bead board came off it was clear that wasn’t possible. This is also why every project has a contingency budget!
